| By the looks of it... they took the clothes on theirs backs and walked away. It is sad to see anyone's belongings sold like that. It does look like a nice house though, with a little alteration. The Joker |

| I was surprised they took pics with the house is such disaray - but then lots of time auction houses have holes in the walls and trash in the house, fixtures removed and such. Looks like they really loved thier house - no matter how it went down - this story is just repeating every day across America. Lots of folks are burning thier houses down to get out from under the note. This altho is still sad. Kind of the final nail in the coffin of an era.

| I wanted to go to it to check out the audio equipment they are auctioning. Thank goodness I didnt waste my time! The Mackie board is decent, but looks like it has been to hell and back and is missing some faders. The Peavey speakers are of a good size, but they were never covered and they have all got to be full of dust. Sad...they could have been some nice speakers for someone...I am assuming the Peavey amp is in the same condition. |

| Yep Dust is bad. On the Bright side, dust doesn't hurt those Par64's. Could be a great deal if the lamps are good. (At least they look like 64's) |

| Yeah, it's a bad deal about the Marchel's bankruptcy and loss of their ranch and property. They're nice folks. We went to a dinner and show at their arena several years ago. Subsequent to that, we had dinner in their restaurant at the Dodge House several other times. It was good, but the quality of the service and food diminished (rapidly) with each visit until we finally stopped going. And another point that was frustrating... they didn't believe in serving alcohol, so when I ordered a steak, I had to get up from the booth and walk into the seperate bar area (Elaine's old place), order a beer and pay cash in a sort-of "self-serve" fashion each time I needed a refill. It made for an awkward situation and helped propel a decline in repeat visits for many people I talked to during that timeframe. I wonder where the family is? Again, I sure hate to hear they had financial misfortune. God bless 'em.

| I am planning on going, but cannot see the equipment because the server is n ot working. If you have seen the equipment, let me know. I am mainly interested in the speakers, amp, mixing board, lights and board and mics.

| I would guess that they took or sold anything of any value. Mrs. or should I say the 'ex Mrs. Marchel is in Wichita, and I think one or two of the daughters are also. Mr. Marchel is still in Dodge. Living too high above your means caused this problem, so don't feel sorry for them. They made their own bed. Several people got "burnt" on this deal, and those are the ones that you should feel sorry about. |

| Wierd how that seems to happen - ALOT
