Question for the nurses!

The grandson is also wheezing. His doc says it's nothing.....keep forcing liquids and keep a watch on him. We got a humidifier for his bedroom and that seems to help him rest easier at night. Thing is, both his dad and his uncle are asthmatic. Son says he quizzed the dr on asthma but the dr thought the baby was too young to show signs of it yet. So, onward we march. Meanwhile, he's cutting 3 more teeth, drooling and his little nose is running all the time. I don't remember that part of my kids growing up.

I'm just hiding and watching and ready to jump when the kid's breathing gets distressed. Being a mom of 2 asthmatics, I still remember watching their little chests cave in...(and Mom and Dad both smoke...grrrrr.....)

You all are a hoot! That must be why I’m addicted to this place. MIT, no a “dick” ted jokes now. Hope everybody’s little ones get better soon. My grandson has been wheezing and coughing off and on for the last 3 or 4 months. My wife is a nurse and so is my daughter, so they keep a pretty close eye on him. Of course, I give him the best care, I always prescribe cookies.

I kinda wish that I could skip being a parent and just be a grandparent. That looks to be where the fun seems to be.

That's what I told my kids. Don't expect me to raise my Grandkids, that's their job. They are damn lucky they made it to "adulthood"! My job now, is to spoil them and laugh at my kids for getting pay backs!
