| DC Days? Just when is Dodge City Days? I was thinking about visiting old Dodge City and going to the Rodeo - but all the websites seem to be out of date. The DC Days website is still showing 2007. The Roundup Inc. site appears to not have paid their domain fees. Maybe it is just my poor searching skills and I am not turning up the right websites. I did find a PRCA listing of rodeos that shows the DC Roundup starting 7-30-08. But - if it isn't - it really reflects poorly on whoever heads up this event. I always thought DC Days was the event of the season - but you wouldn't know that from what I can find on the web. Most people have to plan pretty far in advance for vacation time. Thanks for any info you all have! |

| Check out this site.* Dodge City Days are July 25 -Aug 3 2008* Dodge City CVB, KS* I checked out the above link and if you go to the Main Calender and go to July and August 2008, it will show you the DC Days events.* Maybe I'm not seeing things correctly but that's what is on the page that I show.

| That’s the 5 days of the rodeo. I thought the whole thing was more like 10 days. Shouldn’t it kick off the weekend before, like about July25?

| Thanks for the info. Mommiedearest - the link to Dodge City Days is the one that is a year out of date. It has the 2007 info. The links that are on that page are all out of date. When I see an event as large as DC Days, with an outdated web site - I wonder. Isn't someone getting paid to update this? The DC CVB website is nice, but guess what - its links lead to the outdated pages also. Makes me think I could take my vacation money to Cheyenne Frontier Days and have a better time. They appear to care more about their event. |

| The rodeo dates on the CVB site are for 2008. Dodge City CVB, KS I do believe that the kickoff is the weekend before the rodeo starts and I’m not finding that. There is a number posted at the bottom of the page that I linked for visitor information. It’s staffed 8 to 5 weekdays. 1-800-OLDWEST
