Local Marines need some help!
Gunny Lucas the Station Commander for the Marine recruiting in this area needs a facility to host about 80 people that can sit down and eat. He is having some food catered in and such. It will be on a Monday so the VFW/Legion and NG Armory aren't available for that. The Dodge House charges too much. They are on a very limited budget as what they can spend for facilities. Does anyone have any ideas?

You might be able to get the 4-H building, I think it rents for about $100 but since its for the military they may come down a little bit. Call the Ford Co. extension office at 227-4542

I'm really glad the problem was solved but didn't the city commisioners say that Hoover Pavilion was going to be rented reasonably for wedding receptions, reunions etc.?
