Customer service at its finest

Well, I just got witness truly rude customer service while at lunch at Sonic today. I know rude customer service in Dodge City....shocker.

The car next to me was trying to order, and the first response from inside was "What? I can't hear you" so they (the car) try to reorder. Before the guy can finish saying what he wants on his order, the order taker interupts and asks what type of drinks they want? The guy then continues saying that he does not want mayo on his sandwich, to which the order taker say "oh my god, what kind of drink do you want for the number 5". That was the last straw for the people in the car, the guy responded with an "eat s**t" and left.

Once again i was able to hear this in my own car, so that will let you know how loud it was. when my food came out, i told my car hop that what had happened and to please pass it on to the manager.

I hope that the owners and managers just lost some potential earnings due to a very rude order taker.

Hugz the question you have to ask yourself is do the owners or managers care?

And you have to wonder if it wasn't the manager taking the order - nothing would surprise me.

I'm at the Sonic at least 3 times a week. I've hardly ever had a carhop that could understand what I've said. Do you even know if yours understood what you said? At least getting correct change has gotten better there. I hate their food, but love their drinks. That's why I put up with it. My Choice

I have found the service at the Sonic to normally be very lacking indeed. In fact, most places in Dodge seem to be lacking. When I go out of town, I am amazed how friendly and exceptional the service is at most establishments. WHY NOT DODGE????

One note, I did go into the Long John Silvers awhile back (my first time inside to eat) and I got very good service, and I was impressed with the cleanliness and the remodel! Good Job Eric!!

That's too bad, Monster. Sonic likely refused to pay medical bills because they don't have insurance to cover it. There is a coverage on their liability insurance that allows them to pay up to whatever limit Sonic chooses, which is normally $5,000 or $10,000. at their own discretion without a lawsuit being filed. Sonic (or any insured) can pay that in order to stop costly lawsuits and keep their name out of the paper. Insurance companies prefer it because it saves the cost of an attorney having to represent the case in court or settle out of court for more than actual damages.

I don't understand why they're finding it hard to sue. Their attorney should be able to bring it to a quick close. Sonic corp would want that, I'd think. The tainted food really shouldn't be necessary, but witnesses would help. Seems if all three people in the car ate the same thing and all were hospitalized, something should inevitably be paid. But never say never in Larned.

Still. Even in Larned, people aren't crazy enough to tell this story if it isn't true!

The wife and I went to Montana Mike's the other day and got 2 Porterhouse steaks. My wife told me she smelled the packing house. We thought it must be someone sitting near us. We never it all our steaks and take them home for another meal. When she put hers in the microwave it stunk up our kitchen with the smell of rendering.

We called Montana Mike's and told them and they offered us free steaks, but we told them we didn't want more steaks we just wanted them to be aware something wasn't right with the steak.

We didn't get sick or anything, but what would make a steak smell like rendering? We've eat there many times and always get the same steaks and have never had this problem before.

They get their steaks from China, and they use rendered, artificial protein, with red lead paint, genuine rendering plant aroma, with monkey bones, and recycled pets to form the "product". Now, all of the good beef that we grow and process here in SW Ks and in the US, we export to China, Korea, Japan, and all of the places that send us their CRAP!
