| I'm at the Sonic at least 3 times a week. I've hardly ever had a carhop that could understand what I've said. Do you even know if yours understood what you said? At least getting correct change has gotten better there. I hate their food, but love their drinks. That's why I put up with it. My Choice |

| I have found the service at the Sonic to normally be very lacking indeed. In fact, most places in Dodge seem to be lacking. When I go out of town, I am amazed how friendly and exceptional the service is at most establishments. WHY NOT DODGE???? ![]() ![]() ![]() One note, I did go into the Long John Silvers awhile back (my first time inside to eat) and I got very good service, and I was impressed with the cleanliness and the remodel! Good Job Eric!! ![]() |

| My family and I have been boycotting ALL Sonic restaurants since last summer, when my wife's mother (along with 3 other people) got a bad case of food poisoning after eating corn dogs from the Sonic in Larned. My wife's mother was hospitalized for a week, costing nearly $4,000 in medical bills which Sonic have refused to pay. Her mother (and the other 3 people) have a lawsuit filed against Sonic for the medical bills, but unfortunately it is proving hard to substantiate their case because Sonic disposed of the potentially contamined food, cleaned up their act and passed a Health & Safety inspection just a couple of weeks later.

| That's too bad, Monster. Sonic likely refused to pay medical bills because they don't have insurance to cover it. There is a coverage on their liability insurance that allows them to pay up to whatever limit Sonic chooses, which is normally $5,000 or $10,000. at their own discretion without a lawsuit being filed. Sonic (or any insured) can pay that in order to stop costly lawsuits and keep their name out of the paper. Insurance companies prefer it because it saves the cost of an attorney having to represent the case in court or settle out of court for more than actual damages. I don't understand why they're finding it hard to sue. Their attorney should be able to bring it to a quick close. Sonic corp would want that, I'd think. The tainted food really shouldn't be necessary, but witnesses would help. Seems if all three people in the car ate the same thing and all were hospitalized, something should inevitably be paid. But never say never in Larned.

| Well, it wasn't actually people in the same car. It was customers who throughout the 2 hour "happy hour - cheap corn dogs" period bought the same food as her mom. Her mom only found out because she was in hospital with a couple of them!
