Things For Kids To Do

I thought I might start a thread to give people an idea for things that the kids can do this summer. My nephew told me today that All 4 Fun is selling season passes to kids for $65. That is a pretty good price for kids to go all summer to drive go karts, play mini golf and do the ball thing inside. If I was a kid I would be on the go karts everyday.

Blame the Gummint for that. 10-14 year olds are eager to learn to do things; but it's been decided that they are too tender to work.

15+'ers are too full of puberty to concentrate.

Sometimes that's not always an option. In today's society both parents have to work to pay the bills.

Not necessarily. Most families do this in order to pay off debt or to afford things they don't necessarily need. My husband works and I stay home and we live within our means so that we can do that. We plan on getting him some online classes when we move to Wichita so that we can continue to improve our lifestyle. It can be done, it just requires the family to drive one car, or go without the big screen/dining out/etc. One major problem with today's society is that everyone has too much credit card debt because of "wants".

Well I'm glad your husband makes enough money for you to be able to stay home. It's also nice to see that you believe everyone has credit card debt they're working to pay off. I work because I want to, not to pay off credit card debt.

Do they still have kids movies at the Cinema Circle? 4-H is always fun for kids to get involved in all year round. What about the library? I bet they have summer programs too.
