Does anyone know about the Dodge City farmer's market? I heard it starts sometime in june somewhere downtown. Has anyone been before? What days/times is it open? What kind of stuff do they have?

Homemade jams, jellies, breads, canned goods, vegetables, etc. Depends on the time of season. It is down on front street by the bull statue. Usually people there starting about sun-up till maybe noon?

The Mennonite ladies bring a lot of bread and pastries. The best bakery that I know is in Yoder. Not sure of any out here.

Saturdays only, yes.
I went down to the Farmer's Market one Saturday morning, after a rather rough Friday night, and I ended up buying me a "Farmer"! She sure looks good in those overalls!!

LADodger, it won't be a Farmer's Market like you are used to having in Cali. It's much smaller and folks sell the stuff right off the back of their trucks. The people are great and the veggies and baked goods are even better. There will only be about 5-10 people selling stuff but it's good quality stuff that you are buying from the farmers themselves.
