Cable went off at about 11:50pm last night and was still off at 4:00am when I went to bed. I would have talked to you but I have Cox internet as well so I was sitting at home with no cable and no internet.

I love my SBC internet service. Has not disappointed me yet. Even when my phone was turned off (yea, yea, I was busy, OK!?), I still had internet. Then I was able to get online and pay my bill. LOL

For the most part, we've been satisfied with SBC, too. Hubby has a hard time keeping his computer online (I think it's all him), but I had wireless installed for my new laptop (and my laptop for work) and it never fails me. I was thinking the other night as I was paying bills online, that about 7 or 8 years ago, internet usage was charged by the hour and was way too expensive for a single mom of 2 - one in college and one in high school. Then everybody went with a monthly fee and all the excuses went out the window. Now we work from home, pay bills online, keep in touch with friends/family - and have kinda forgotten what it was like 'before'. Amazing.

I also have SBC and have had no problems.
