Now crabs I have heard are easy to get rid of, this is where the lighter fluid comes in to the picture, Dose your pubic area, ignite, and then stab the little bastards with an Ice Pick.

My oldest daughter is a Vet Tech @ a Speciality and Emergency Clinic in Overland Park and they recommend Advantage or Frontline for the tick and flea problems in dogs and cats.. Here's a little ditty on Advantage, if anyone's interested.

Advantage kills fleas on dogs, cats, puppies, kittens

Applied to the back of the neck on cats and between the shoulder blades on dogs, this topical solution spreads naturally on the skin surface at the hair follicle level. Advantage flea control treatment continues to kill fleas and their larvae even after a shampooing, swimming, rain or exposure to sunlight. Under normal conditions, one Advantage treatment will provide at least one month flea control on dogs and up to one month control on cats. In the event the pet swims more than once weekly, re-treatment may be necessary. The pet may be treated as often as once weekly!

Advantage is so gentle it can be used on puppies as young as seven weeks and kittens as young as eight weeks. Advantage is also used on older cats and dogs. Simply "being geriatric" would not preclude the use of Advantage on a dog or cat. As with any product, pet owners with specific concerns (pregnant, nursing, sick, etc.) should consult their veterinarian prior to use.

For best results, clean and dry your pet before applying Advantage. Once Advantage flea control is applied to your pet (to the back of the neck on cats and between the shoulder blades on dogs,) it spreads on the surface of the skin at the hair root level, aided by body movement, to provide whole body coverage. Advantage topical flea treatment causes the flea’s nervous system to become impaired, and the flea dies.

I've used Advantage and Frontline. Frontline killed the fleas we had at the time (when my house was infested we had 2 dogs, 3 ferrets, 8 cats [counting kittens] and a priarie dog). I cannot say how well Advantage worked because I have not had any fleas in the house since that time.

Muffy, She works at the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center at 11950 W 110th St. She works with Dr Brian Cellio, who is a Veterinary Neurologist. She used to work in Lawrence, with Dr Tom Liebl. She really liked working there but she wanted a change so she went to VSEC. She still works prn with Dr Tom on her off days. He really didn't want her to leave but another Vet., who works there and does consulting work where Mandi worked recommended her to VSEC. She's been there about 3 yrs and really likes it but the drive from Lawrence everyday sucks. Good thing though, her middle sister lives in Gardner and she's a nurse in Lenexa so they spend alot of time together. Thx for asking.

I'll wave when I drive by there tomorrow morning on the way to work! Never had to take the Stupid Damn Dog to the ER vet - she always manages to cause an emergency during Her Highness' vet's business hours. The reason I asked is because I think that's the only Emergency Clinic for animals in OP. This is really a great area to live - when you come up to visit next time, holler at me!
