| Another email ... I don't remember the last name of passenger... first name Kay. That 62 Studebaker was his pride and joy... Chris and Jim Calhoun Saturday, May 31, 2008 1:14 PM From: "Lue Duffey" Hi, I am so sorry I sent e-mails out about Jim Calhoun this morning with out talking to the people at the sourse off the situation, I know not to do that- with that being said!!!!!! I called Chris a bit ago she tells me about the accident Jim and Kay were in. Cris tells me that it was a beautiful sunny day Jim was going out to pick up some music equipment they had Kay meet him at Grinnell to give her a graduation gift ( she had gotten a masters degree a couple weeks ago) she wanted to ride along with him. Jim said he was going to pick up the equipment and go to North Platt from there but she hated that Jim didn`t have a cell phone and insisted so they headed to Denver.A vehicle went to pass them and caught the left side of the bumper Jim fell out onto the pavement Kay stayed in the car, the Highway Patrolmen feel she died right away. With Chris`es permission now I have straightened this out and again I`m so sorry. They have a long rough road ahead but they are young and strong with our prayers they will be okay. Jim has several broken bones he was in surgery this morning having the right leg operated on. Lue If you would like to send card the address is: St.Anthony Central ICU 4231 W. 16th Ave. Denver Co. 80204
