Yeah, and when you saw him he'd say in that (quick) LOW voice....

"Hello, Hello, how ya doing today?"

He was a very friendly guy.

RIP Ed.

How did he die?

I heard today about Mr. Jackson. My heart is broken. He was the nicest man in the world! I know both him and his wife and they are wonderful people. I heard several stories but wont repeat since Im not sure which is true or false. It does not matter. He is gone. I just cant believe it. It is a sad sad day. I didnt see anything in the paper today about services. Hopefully something will be in the paper tomorrow. If someone finds out sooner could you please post it here?

Ed Jackson was a fine, fine man. He cared about the students he worked with. In fact, I don't know of anyone or anything he didn't care about. RIP Ed.

I guess I didn't know Mr. Jackson - sounds like he was a true gem. My prayers are for his family.

Mr. Jackson was one of those people you remember for a long time, a formative person for many. He had a huge smile, a huge strong handshake and a huge heart, very firm man who took no crap but was very understanding. Sad to hear of his passing.

I wish I could go but I just started a new job last Monday. I cried last night when I read his obituary. He was such a great man and was respected and loved by anyone who crossed his path. The next DB cictizen of the year award I am nominating Mr. Jackson. RIP
