    Cox Cable

I don't know how many of you have Cox Cable, but if you have it with the HD package, Cox recently added 10 more High Def channels to the HD line-up. They recently added :

    1. Animal Planet
    2. Science
    3. Golf
    4. Cinemax
    5. Sci-Fi channel
    6. Bravo
    7. USA Network
    8. CNBC
    9. Lifetime
    10. Fox Sports/Royals Baseball channel

I'm not sure when they added them, but they are fairly new. That makes 36 total HD channels available on Cox (by my count).

Cox called last week asking us to upgrade to a whole package (phone, internet, & HD.) We said no 5 times in the phone call. They still keep calling every day. It's becoming harassment. How do we get them to stop calling us?

Maybe next time they call ask to speak to a supervisor, tell the supervisor to remove your phone number from their call list or you will hire an attorney and also turn them in to the Kansas Attorney General's office. That might work.

Got another call today. I said exactly what you suggested. We'll see if I get another one tomorrow. Thanks for the advice!

Did you get to speak to a supervisor? Let's hope it works!

No, didn't speak to a supervisor. As far as I can tell, no call from Cox.

I got "that call" yesterday and had the lady put her Super on. I let them know it was jacked up that I'm a customer and they are trying to sell crap to me. I told them I was happy with what I had and if I wanted MORE I would call them.

I am NOT happy with COX service at the moment. Its not the cable, its the internet. Mine goes out about every 2 min. Literally. I have to unplug the CAT 5 from the back of the computer and then reconnect to get back online. I have had two different techs out to my house, neither can figure out whats wrong. I have replaced the cable modem, the CAT 5, and even the computer. The problem persists. So, I'll be switching providers today. Thanks for nothing COX.

I was doing the exact same thing about 6 months ago, I too had techs out 3 times-they said nothing was wrong. I still have Cox internet and so far havent had any problems lately-I chalked it up something was wrong with the provider itself.

I've had Cox internet for over 8 years and can only recall 2 times that my internet was out that caused me grief. Once was the cable modem and the next is still a mystery, but it hasn't done the same thing again, so far.
