I've got my process all figured out except for the delivery to the engine, and I've got some idea on it I've just got to do some research.

I'm thinking about testing it on my Camaro. I know I've got to isolate the cathode(+) because thats the side that produces the hydrogen. The other side(anode(-)) produces oxygen which can be simply vented off. I'm thinking either lead or platinum for the contacts. Platinum works best but cost a heck of a lot more than smashing up a car battery for the lead.

A few potential problems I have found is that you need to trick your vehicles computer, if it has one, in to thinking it's running rich and not lean. Also, I've learned that setting your timing to TDC(top dead center) will boost your mileage quite a bit. Some have suggested if you can run at 0'TDC you could, theoretically, get 100mpg.

I think an older car would be much easier to experiment with. That must be why most people are experimenting with 1984's and older. You don't need to mess with the computer.

It's the same as charging any lead-acid battery.

Incidentally, one should never remove energized charging/jumper cables directly from a battery because any little spark can/will ignite the hydrogen gas. IF YOU'RE LUCKY, only the caps will pop-off of the battery. I've seen ruptured batteries and heard of nasty acid burns.

The trick is to put the negative (BLACK for those who went to public school) cable onto some other appropriate appurtenance instead of the battery post.

Why throw away perfectly good oxygen? Oxygen makes things burn better and should deliver more power from your fuel.

Think about an oxygen-acetylene torch.

No doubt! could the Oxygen be re-routed to part of the air intake? could this be directly behind the air filter, as it should be clean air?

It looks like, in most case, the oxygen is feed to the engine along with the hydrogen. Hence HHO. 2 parts hydrogen 1 part oxygen.
