I'm thinking a radiator overflow tank would make a pretty niffty tank for the hydrogen generator. It's heat resistant and easy to work with.
I have seen a few in the videos that have a toggle switch to be able to turn it off when not needed, like when idling or caught in a traffic jam.

I was looking around late last night and kicking myself this morning for not saving links. What I’ve read is this process isn’t simply separating hydrogen and oxygen but in fact creating a gas called Brown’s gas. The process was patented back in the sixties so this isn’t brand new technology.

Basically it takes two molecules of H2O and reconfigures it to a single molecule consisting of two H2 and one O2.

This thing reminds me of the seventies when folks were experimenting with various ideas on how to save fuel. One popular idea was preheating the gas before it got to the carburetor. One fellow wrapped the gas line around the exhaust manifold and burned his truck up. I want to express extreme caution because HHO leaking where it shouldn’t could be a disaster.

I purchased a set of plans and have delivered them to detector. Special thanks go out to Tee and jeezeweeze for their contributions to help purchase the plans. Between detector and myself we will somehow get updates posted to the board.

Anyone know where we can get sheet stainless steel? And is it brittle enough to just score and break, or does it need to be cut with shears or a saw?

Tee and I did some looking around yesterday at the local hardware stores and didn't have much luck on our electrodes. We were hoping to find 6 stainless steel wall plates but no luck. The closest we got was 5 at Wal*Marts. We want to be sure that our parts can be gotten from local shops without a lot of trouble. This is proving to be our biggest challenge so far.

It's hard to cut without good tools.

The video where the fellow was using ss washers on a ss bolt looked good. Try the aisle in Waters with all kinds of assorted oddities. On the west end is their ss hardware.

I have found 12 SS blank wall plates and a 3' stick of 3/8" Stainless allthread. I should have them either over the weekend or the first of next week. We're getting there slowly but surely!

Take it over the DCCC to get it cut. They have some laser machine over there that cuts metal.

Most of what I’ve seen it’s just simply running the hose into the air cleaner and letting it get sucked in. I’ve wondered about using the nozzles that are used with NO2 systems.

I’ve also wondered if there’s any kind of regulation of the HHO delivery volume.

I think an older car would be much easier to experiment with. That must be why most people are experimenting with 1984's and older. You don't need to mess with the computer.
I saw something in my surfing about a coupling that raises the oxygen sensor ¾ inch out of the hole to fool the computer. I do agree that an older car would be easier to experiment with.

Detector, Trent's Sheet Metal should have some stainless steel sheets. Probably have some scraps that you could buy too. They are down on East Wyatt Earp.

Did some surfing on the net last night and came up with this picture, thought it might be a simple and inexpensive idea...also a website that sells the mesh in 12"X12"sheets.
