Well looks like this weekend will be my in-car test. I go on vacation starting tomorrow so I'll have at least a week for a trial run. And... to recover if necessary

I've talked with some pretty knowledgeable Camaro people who have given me the port to connect to.

My hopes are high as I have yet to find a single post/blog that says they built one and it didn't work. Other than MythBusters screwup. I'm also happy to say I have yet to ready a post/blog that says they built one and it blew up.

Not likely. If it works I plan to build a few for some of the others that have invested, and then I'll be open to orders

Actually, my sole purpose is to test it for myself. That and improve the MPG on my car. I've just got to know if it works or not.

Maybe we could start our own MythBusters here on DodgeBoard. You know, something like ForeReals.

A friend of mine has built several of these and has yet to be able to trick out the computer for new vehicles to make them accept the mods.

One problem he did have was the plates were developing a "film" of corrosion as it ran. He fixed it by adding a modulator of some kind that switches the Pos and Neg every few seconds. This seems to repell what is sticking to the plates.
