Wow, I thought that boom was you guys the other night! Then to my surprise, it was "thunder". I hadn't heard any thunder for so long out here in the desert, that I just forgot what it was! ;):D

Here are some pictures of the installed HHO generator. We installed it by using zip ties to strap it to the "X" bracing in front of my radiator.

I drove an approx 70.5 mile highway trip from Dodge City-Bucklin-Minneola-Dodge City, then drove around town in Dodge to test with and without the HHO gen on. Here is the mileage and the gallons used with the generator off. It calculates to 23.308 MPG.

I drove the same highway trip with the generator on, then again drove around town here with the generator on. Here are the trip meter and gallons used with the generator on. It calculates to 28.517 MPG. An increase of 5.209 MPG!!

The impression I get while driving is that it doesn't really help that much at highway speeds (I set the cruise control at 69MPH). I get the feeling that it really helps the mileage driving in town.

I will do more experimenting on in town driving and post the results.

Like I said it doesn't generate that much Hydrogen. If you notice the white piece that is inline on the hose that is laying on the bumper on the first picture. That is a flame arrestor, so that if I do get a backfire in the engine it won't travel to the generator. The switch I have now is a 30A switch and there is a 25A inline fuse coming from the battery before the power gets to the switch.

I feel completely safe with this system that we have put together.
