| Pay Pal! KC, I would be more concerned about what information that they DO have! I would contact your banks, the sights you have gotten items from etc. Just to make sure that these thief's can't use your information to buy things in your name! Just a thought! |

| I had to change my debit card password twice because I got scammed onto a fake bank site. It looked so real; these crooks are professionals. |

| You all should live by one rule when it comes to internet banking. They never ever send you email unless you requested something. |

| Yes I have been getting those Pay Pal emails too. I ignore them because someone was pulling this scam long ago.

| I get that crap all the time. From Paypal, Ebay, Bank of America, and even banks I'm not a member of. The best thing to do, is never reply, or use a link within. Even if it seems real. If it is real, you'll more than likely get a message of some type when you log in to their site. When I get an apperent email from Paypal, especially if it's to the right address I use for them, I go directly to their site. If it's real, they'll ask the same thing when I log in.

| If these crooks and scammers worked half as hard at a real job, they wouldn't need to steal! ![]() |

I have the fraud reporting address of every company I do financial transactions online with. When I get a phishing attempt, I just forward it to the financial institution's fraud reporting system and let them handle it. They have a way for you to report the fake websites like paypalinc on the security section of their website.

| That's exactly what I did - it would just make life a lot easier if you didn't have to look twice at every Email. Oh, well, the junk filter caught them. I go into the junk area once in a while just to make sure something real isn't being caught. It's just frustrating. ![]()

| If it's a real communication, they will always refer to you by your name "Dear Timothy Smith," and usually a partial account number. The phishing scams always say "Dear valued member" or something like that.
