Oh, Geezus - no Jack Russell. Those damn dogs live for-freakin-ever!

And they shed! They're smart, but ours is rotten to the core! If the grandson is over, she goes to the farthest corner in the house and pees. No matter if she's just come in from outside or not...and she hates him. She won't stay in the same room. What a snot!

He's the sweetest little thing ever. He just wants to pet her! She's just a nasty old girl-dog. But he does throw stuff and some of it lands close to her (accidentally, of course...;)) - that's when she usually gets up and hightails it upstairs!

Why don't you want a shelter dog again? Check petfinder.com. You can search by location and breed. Some will be mixed but you can also find pure breeds.

I have experience with whippets. They are a high energy dog but very cute. When they are babies they have super tiny legs so you'll have to make sure your little one doesn't pull on them and snap them. She is so young that maybe a sturdier dog would be better.

I didn't look at what I was clicking on. I thought it would be a link to look at a dog. It tried to open Outlook to send an email to somebody.
