Bandit, you are right. I'm just glad that the market is doing at least something.

Ha! They do. They seem almost worth it though.

Depends how much you drive and if you’re due for a car anyway. In my case I have several years left in my truck and price of a new car would take years to be offset by the fuel savings.

What is the top speed on those? Is it around 40-50 MPH?

President Obama has responded to our national debt spiralling out of control by calling for the creation of a Deficit Commission to find solutions to the problem. Coulter suggests The Deficit Commission's first recommendation should be "resign immediately Mr. President."

I see 'em cruisin' around up here quite a bit. I shiver when I see 'em on the interstate. I keep thinkin' no self-respecting parent would put their kid in one, but it does look like a lot of fun! I suspect the reason we're seeing more is the back-to-school thing. Parents don't want to pay for the car plus the high insurance for a teenager plus the gas. These aren't priced too bad. The liability part of the insurance premium ought to be pretty good - there's no way it could total another car if you had an at-fault accident in one. Course there's that little coverage for injuries to people in your car......:wasted:

Those aren't the one's I've seen around town. Those might be highway legal, I don't know anything about those.

This small car stuff reminds me of the song In a Yugo.

Turn up the volume and follow the link.

They are required to get a "city" tag from city hall
