    I have no idea. I'm not a big fan of "service academy" football because the talent base is low. The overall record of Army vs Navy is pretty even but Navy seems to have the upper hand right now. I don't know if it's coaching or the fact that the navy is full of seaman.......Either way they have gotten the best of Army over the last few years.

    Very few if any players on those teams go on to the NFL...most have other aspirations and play mostly for the love of the game and their service.

    I would note that the national spot light teams...OU and Florida both 12-1 this year...probably only have a hand full of players on their team that could play for Army/Navy/Air Force academy. Most would not make the cut.

    I helped trained cadets at West Point one summer...those guys LIVE for BEAT NAVY....too bad it doesn't come to fruition.

    Now, I am not so sure of that, AOO! However, I would bet that they would be more disciplined, more studious, better groomed, and easier to coach.;)

    I meant that the players from the 12-1 schools wouldn't make the cut for Army and Navy...because you have to be mentally competitive...not just physically able.....

    Another reason that Army will never again be a football powerhouse is that if you are a good enough football player to get drafted, you're still going to have to do your time in the sand and then if you're still in tip top shape when you get out of the Army you MIGHT be able to go to Arena League.

    What the Army did to that kid from West Point who got drafted was just wrong. I bet its going to come back to bite them later on.
