| Lots of people cashing in on the movie. I've been very surprised at what those mopars go for. This one here went to $115,000 and there is one on there now at $80,000. Both just like the green one I posted above found in a back yard rotting. I saw one of these sell on Barret Jackson for $300,000 WOW

| Oh how sad - to see those cars like that. Had a X that had a mach I 1973 - stripes flames and everything. Infact bought it in south Dodge. Hauled it back to Texas and had at least 10 offers on it during the trip. We finally sold it to a guy that bought it for his son - they rebuilt mustangs but this one was mint - right down to the horses on the wheels. Sure wish we had gotten what it was worth but sometimes you let things go to folks cause you know it's going to a good home - it's not always about money. We were never gonna use it like it should be used. Was too expensive a toy for us while raisin kids. Saw it around town a few times then as the 80's turned into the 90's never saw it again. Fond memories tho - LOL

| Oh, God, Detector - haven't opened this thread for a few days. That 'stang is gorgeous! If you don't buy it, tell me how much they want. Sonny-boy can do the body work and I have a mechanic-friend that can do the engine and tranny for me (he's the one that made my VW well again!). But I'd have to paint it. Either candy-apple red or the Mustang-original blue. What a find. You must spend a lot of time at this - there just aren't that many any more that people are willing to part with.
