One day a father gets out of work and on his way home he remembers that it's his daughter's birthday. He pulls over to a toy store and asks the salesperson, "How much is the Barbie on the display window?" The salesperson answers, "Which one? We have: Work out Barbie for$19.95, Shopping Barbie for $19.95 Beach! Barbie for $19.95, Disco Barbie for $19.95, and Divorced Barbie for $265.95

The amazed father asks: "What? Why is the Divorced Barbie $265.95 and the others only $19.95?"

The salesperson annoyingly answers: "Sir..., "Divorced Barbie comes with:
Ken's Car, Ken's House, Ken's Boat, Ken's Furniture, Ken's Computer and...One of Ken's Friends.

It sure does. I got custody of our 2 sons when I got divoced and ever time she came to see the kids when I wasn't home she took something else from the house. Oh well at least I ended up with new stuff.

The first time I divorced, I took very little from the house and did the same thing - onesies when I went to pick up the boys from their visitation. Not every time - mind you, but when I'd think of something I shouldn't have left. I'm not proud of it, but sometimes I'd just put the hint in their ear and they'd bring it home with them!

The second time was a different story. I took it all the first time, knowing I'd never get back in the house!!! But I've since found some things I shouldn't have taken and had to give it back. Now - wasn't that nice of me??

Ya know I have been thinkin about this post and I have decided that the divorced Barbie is so expensive cause cause Ken took off with Madge or Midge whatever Barbie's friends name was......... Now Ken is still in high cotton cause he has HIS best friends stuff........ole what's his name.....

Barbie needs to hook up with him and everyone will still be livin that "Mattel" lifestyle.

Yes it was. When my ex took all this stuff I said nothing. I figured the less confrontation the better. My kids and I were happy and that's all that mattered. The thing that got me is she would take things like pots and pans, dishes, and bath towels. I didn't know she took them until I needed them and I didn't have them.

My big “B” is the ex took stuff she didn’t need and left it outside to rust or sold it at the flea market of pennies on the dollar while I had to replace most of the stuff at new price.

OK, ya made me laugh again and I can't 'rep' ya again today, so I'll tell ya a secret! It came from my boys when visiting their dad and stepmom-to-be.

Dad's Ex (second wife) left becuz, well, there's not a good way to put it and Lurker's no doubt listening, so I won't say. We'll just say she liked experimentation. So she's living on the other end of town. I think I can say trailer court, right? I didn't say trashy, so I think it's OK.

Dad and Stepmom-to-be and oldest son were up late talking and laughing. Dad and Stepmom were imbibing on some alcholic beverages. Dad got tired and went to bed. Stepmom-to-be kept drinking. She and oldest son got a crazy wild hair to do something evil.

They packed up all of second wife's excess belongings from the basement in the back of an old pickup Dad had. They drove to the other end of town (oldest son driving because Stepmom-to-be is over the legal limit). Find trailer where second wife lived. Proceeded to dump ALL of second wife's junk in front of her trailer. Well, they were none too quiet about it and had the whole park awake within minutes. Second wife wasn't happy. Threatened to call the police. Stepmom-to-be invited her to do just that and they drove away.

Don't know why I felt compelled to share that - I kinda wish I'd been in on it... one of those things you hear and you laugh so hard you wet your pants, and one of those things you wish you could do, but will probably never be brave enough?

Sure made stepmom-to-be feel good. And second wife just got angry. Again. I still laugh when I think of it. Just like now. Have a great weekend!
