| sometimes I wish I could pour Coke in the gas tank. Always find coke on sale around here. Oh. VW's back in the shop. Y'all bow your heads and say a few words that she's feelin' better in no time, K? I can't afford to drive the truck more than one day at almost $3 a gallon! Although it is a comfy creature! Hubby drove the VW last. I'm kinda thinkin' somebody's tryin' to take me for a big ride down a long road. Instead of lettin' the guy that 'found' the problem fix it, I'm havin' it towed to my 'own' shop (where they'll pamper her just a little). Hubby left it off near the airport for an oil change while he was out of town. That was 3 days ago. All of a sudden, it wouldn't start, and now it won't go anywhere after they jump started it. Hmmmmmm. I'm thinkin' we'll end up gettin' the parking for 3 days free and they'll be lucky if they don't get the tow bill and the mechanic's bill. I swear. Musta seen a female name on the registration and decided to have some fun. Jeesh!

| How is it that Dodge City gas stations can charge so much for gas? I know that Hays and Garden City are ussually 10-15 cents per gallon cheaper than Dodge! The thing that really baffles me is that most of the smaller surrounding towns sell gas for around 5 cents cheaper than Dodge. You can't tell me that these small towns can buy gas cheaper than stations in Dodge. Alright, I have spoke my mind. Side-note: I know it won't make a difference, but it is nice to vent from time to time. |

| Price Of Gas Okay,I'm gonna slowly with my two hands in sight (look over my shouder), slip on my radical hat. Okay? Nobody move, no body gets hurts! Why are we in such a hurry to extract all of the oil we have under the US of A? I say let those other countries pump and pump until they get that sucking dry sound; we'd keep buying that black devil from them all along, until they don't have any oil. Now...we have our reserves...whoa baby. And, we have alternative energy. See below. In the meantime, the US of A puts a lot of time and capital into alternative energy, such as wind, solar and crop oils, to keep up satisfied. When the BIG WAR comes - and make no mistake it's gonna jump all over our world — it could trump religion or civil rights or, more likely, corporate money — we can not only have our own alternative to oil energy, but some old (oil) energy left over to really deal with the other governments of the world, and can hold the ace up our sleeves. Just a thought. |

| Are you suggesting that if we suck the rest of the world dry and a BIG WAR happens that the Democrats might give a little and let us put a hole or two in the ground over here? I really don’t think Democrats are that extreme. Just pass a $2 a gallon Federal tax on gas and watch how fast they start promoting SUV’s and let us drill all the holes we want.
