| doG's are people, too... At least when it comes to drugs... Quote: Prescription discount card can be used for pets, too
The Reno County Prescription Discount Card, introduced in April, can be used to obtain a discount on pets' prescription medicine sold at participating retail pharmacies.
The discount card would cover antibiotics and anti-seizure drugs for pets, for example, but not tick and flea treatments....
Reno County is a member of the National Association of Counties, which is sponsoring the prescription drug program. It is intended to help people - or pets - that have no prescription drug insurance.
The discount cards are free and available at various county offices, including the courthouse, the health department and public works.
Most pharmacies accept the discount cards. Cards cannot be used in addition to other prescription drug insurance.
| Yelp, it's a real pisser dat they don't include fleas and tic's treetmentz!
