strange phenomenon

If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only
see one color, pink.

However. if you stare at the black "+" in the center, the moving dot turns to green.

Now, concentrate on the black "+" in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear , and you will only see a green dot rotating.

It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the
pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see.

saw the pink and saw the green, what DO you MEAN they don't disappear? they blink around the circle! am i nuts?

Ummm....back to the topic (I don't go next door anymore either, so it was new to me!). That was cool, but how long do you have to star at the black cross in the center before there's only one circle? I saw the green, but pink ones were still there.

Maybe my mind is highly open to suggestion or something...but after only about 5 seconds of staring and concentrating on the black cross, the what appears to be green ball seems to "eat up" the pink ones, leaving on ly the cross and a very faint green ball going in a circle.
