Oh, hoarsey! Even if Lurker gives you a hard time, just tell him off. I shop at Wally's sometimes too. Not often, cuz hubby doesn't like the crowds for any price. And we don't have little ones anymore, so we don't need big stock-up quantities. I get a kick out of it sometimes....when I'm in a real good mood...

Heck WalMart is where ya go to be seen in small towns.......ya been in "the city " too long KC.........
Walmart is the regular "town square"........ I hated goin to walmart in DC when I was not dressed (right...let me add that for Hiway before he starts) ..........always saw someone that knew me......LOL
Lurker's probably sleepin in the dawg house anyhow.......He seems to hate walmart but bet if he's in DC he's been in there a time or two....we all have - don't make ya abad boy!!!

Uhhh. Yeah. It's not exactly a happenin' place here. Lots of people, but usually families with crying kids. I really try to avoid that at all costs. I don't remember taking my kids anywhere when they were a screaming mess. Christmas is bad. Start of school is bad. Start of summer is bad. Thanksgiving's bad. Halloween is awful! Fourth of July is bad. Doesn't matter, give people a reason to congregate in retail stores and they will. I'd really rather shop at midnight. But then you have to put up with the idiots that think the floor needs to be waxed.

In Dodge anymore, Walmart is about the only place left to shop. Once they get going and put everybody else out of business, then you all are screwed! I know of some small towns that fight to keep Walmart out of their towns.
But, then on the other hand, Walmart gives the Senior Citizens a place to work!

Indeed it does. Gotta admit - my oldest was a box thrower all thru 2nd year of college and got him thru the police academy as well. They really thought once he graduated cop skool he was gonna stay and work security.....needless to say he told them he wasn't that loyal..... but they did accomadate him all thru skool....

course many of the older employees are "part time" keeps them from payin bennies....
