| HELP: Does anyone speak jibberish? I just bought this TV on eBay and received it today. But the manual is some sort of foreign language. It looks kind of like english but a very non-coherent dialec. I scanned page one just for reference. If anyone speaks this language could you please email me a translation? I would like to hook it up but am unsure as to how to use the enhanced features. Thanks (right click attachment, open in new window)

| it looks to me that it was originally written in a foreign language then translated to english, but not checked over by someone who speaks it. i dont see anything about special features, i see it just explaining what buttons do what. That's my take on it.

| The whole manual is this way. I just scanned page one so I could locate a translator.....  I have truly never seen anything like this!! Do these manufacturers use online translation engines to rewrite the manual? That's absurd!! In the attention box, it seems as though they are telling me to watch the TV as I drive down the road!!!

| When my kids were small and we had to put together the "Santa" toys, ex-hubby wouldn't read the instructions, either - I'm not sure I'd call him a "real man" .......

| Well you can call me blonde all ya want but I understood all that. Ya just leave out the words ya don't need and let your common sense do the rest. Think of it as a puzzle..... you really already know how a TV works..... so you know the outcome. That's how some of my spanish translating looks!... I still understand and get understood just fine. Ain't always pretty but pretty much works always. If ya got a real stumper email it to me.... LOL I didn't find that tough to read at all........
