| New Dell... Dead I bought a new Dell from Best Buy about 2 weeks ago. The old one was slowing down and it was time to move on so I bought this one before catastrophy could hit and take my time loading it and moving files. It worked fine. I turned it on this morning nad no problems. Then as I was checking the weather just before leaving EVERYTHING started to drag. I shut it down and tried to bring it back up. Now I've got a Drive 0 seek error. I'm thinking it's a defective drive. Just take it back and let the dweeb squad fix it or is there something else I can check?

| Can you press F12 when you first turn it on? If so, run the "Diagnostics" and I'll bet you get a error 7. Bad disk drive Call Dell and they will ship you out one for free.
