Previewing Posts

Is there already a way that you can preview your posts? I haven't seen it, and if it's not available, that would be a nice addition. Thanks!

isn't that usually on boards that don't allow you to edit your posts?

If you select go advanced, or use the post reply, instead of using a quick reply, you can preview your message.

Lars, if what you are trying to accomplish is to see your formatting and pictures exactly as they will appear in your post before posting, you can enable the WYSIWYG formatting option in miscellaneous options in the control panel under options. Try that and let us know if that did it for you.

lurker simply clicks on the "Preview Post" button that's adjacent to the "Submit Reply" button immediately below the light blue screen. I don't believe it's available in the Edit mode unless you select the "Go Advanced" button.

Aha! That did the trick (setting it to WYSIWYG)! Thank you, admin!!

Which is obviously the thing to do . . . except in the absence of that button, which is what I had before I switched it over to the advanced version. Thanks.
