Have any of Leslie Hess's clients ever sued her?
Or does she just find clients dumb enough to believe her when she threatens them back?
Here's the problem with Ellis County....it's pretty corrupt. Many affairs and dirty laundry that Leslie knows about and uses against other attorney's / Judges. To my knowledge, she gets away with this quite regularly in Ellis County. However, check out the two cases listed below. Both ended up in the Court of Appeals with three Judges from Shawnee County, inwhich Leslie clearly didn't have her tentacles in...Ha!
In the AM Leslie went in front of the Court of Appeals and won her case, but in the PM (afternoon) she went in front of the SAME Judges and tried to argue the other side. Before she could even open her mouth, they called her out on it. She tried to manipulate their words, but they wouldn't have any part of it. She was fighting both sides of the coin. These Judges really put her in her place as well as the Judge that went along with her in the latter case - Which apparently is the ONLY way to shut her up when her mouth and head start bobbing..?! Who knew?!
Honestly, it's about time SOMEONE stood up to her and was listened to!! However, I still believe it should be taken a step further and she should be held accountable as an attorney for what she has done (and continues to do). These cases are now documented with the Appellate Court. Leslie Hess has continually abused her priviledges as an attorney even now in Ellis County where she now resides. I have never known someone as 'legally dirty' as her, yet she keeps slipping through all the cracks?!
Check out the cases for yourself:
MEYER v. STABEL (Leslie represented Meyer in the morning and WON)
CHANCE v. KEISWETTER (Leslie represented Keiswetter in the afternoon and LOST)
Thankfully - It was the Court of Appeals (same Judges all day who did NOT reside in Ellis County), and she argued both cases within hours apart (easy to remember the case prior).
Clearly she's not going to be sanctioned by one of her own clients through a civil malpractice proceeding due to the fact that her own clients already KNOW how 'dirty' she is and are afraid of her turning the tables on them....so it's up to the Judges to step in....right? This is a question, because honestly, I do not know?!
I actually heard she left Dodge City because a Judge threatened to try and disbarr her...any truth to that?
