People should not be afraid of government, government should be afraid of the people

Blog entry posted by THE COMMANDER, Jul 3, 2010.

I have come to notice what I believe is a cliquey atmosphere on Dodgeboard.

I have spoken to people in town. There is this consistent opinion amongst the people I have spoken to that others like to avoid this site because of hard personalities permeate this site. That if you disagree or are not in line with the typical clique belief than they will do what they can to kick you off and/or censure you.

It is an honest assessment that I have received much grieve. Irrational and annoyingly benign jabs are the typical attack I deal with when I post my concerns and opinions. It astounds me at the amount of people who pop off with some emotionally based insult but they cannot seem to muster the mental fortitude to counter my argument with something legitimately sound. When you reduce a discussion or argument to mere bloviating idiocy, you have lost your foothold and should retire from further embarrassment.

As my father always told me and as I will now tell you, "When you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all." His advice rings true on this site. There is no need for us to quarrel just because we hold to different ideology and opinions. Is there? We should never be afraid of posting our beliefs and opinions. This is the United States of America and our 1st Amendment right to FREE SPEECH is universal.

Since joining this site in Feb 2010, I have seen a gradual shift of opinions. Again, it appears to me that many people have been hammered off this site if they did not coincide with the "popular" people on this site. Very much like a high school or Jr. High clique. Most other Dodge City citizens are afraid to even post out of intimidation and fear of similar abrasive treatment from existing members who would be in disagreement.

This has never deterred me in the slightest. It fuels me and focuses my resolve because when I see people emotionally attacking me, I know those are the people who do not fully understand something and in their denial, they lash out at the opposing person. It's human nature I suppose. To attack that which you don't understand or are philosophically against. It is how wars are started, fought, and lost.

I have seen something develop recently. Dodgeboard in my opinion has been the shelter and social network haven for a specific group of individuals with a particular spin on events in Dodge.

Since my arrival, I have made it my goal to "shake the cage" a little and get some new blood pumping in this site's veins and I think my efforts are coming to fruition because I now see others like myself who are more willing to post their counter establishment opinions with less fear of reprisal from seasoned board members.

I am proud of this accomplishment!!! It is my continued hope to help elevate this site and its future potential for weighty philosophical and political debate. To assist in members' knowledge of the issues at hand. To help inspire others like myself to come online, and know there is a safe haven for their thoughts to be posted. For them to know someone has their back if they get picked on.

For those who are reading my missive, I am the Commander. I am stern but remember I am also sincerely fair and courteous. My mission of exposing fraud at all levels of society and government will never stop. I am focused and resolute to hound those who would control and/or destroy us.

If you feel as I do. Then feel free to post your opinions and beliefs as I do. Do not be afraid because you will have an ally on this board who has your back and is not afraid. Don't worry because there are others just like you.

The Regulator Compatriots are a small group but we are growing. Our members are growing with each passing day. When people come to terms that they can make a difference in this town's government and beyond, citizen's complacency will be shed and an informed politic will be born!

Finally, there are those who misunderstand me. The Commander embodies an ideology. The Commander is a citizen who chooses to do what others cannot. He chooses to do the RIGHT thing: TO STAND AGAINST INJUSTICE.

The Commander is an IDEOLOGY WITHOUT COMPROMISE. He is beset by liberal smooth talkers and conservative liars who have deceived our nation and driven our nation into the ground. They have transformed this once great nation into a waste water lagoon riddled with illegal aliens and monumental trade deficits. These people are the enemy to American public because they have retarded our status as leader of the free (1st) world into a 3rd world bone yard.

It is to these ill-doers I direct this message:

It is nigh time to begin protecting the citizens of the United States instead of your select special groups. Selling the People of the United States out will not longer be tolerated. The time has come for the American people to reclaim all that we have lost.

Maureen Dowd wrote no truer words, "The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for."

This is America in case you have forgotten. When people finally become aware to this universal and monumental fraud being perpetrated against us, as the Japanese Naval Marshal General Isoroku Yamamoto was paraphrased in American film as saying, "awaking the sleeping dragon."

The American people are the 'sleeping dragon' and when they wake up to these ineffectual politicians who are driving our country into the dirt, the people will rise for justice!

I am their herald on this cause.

Friend listen here,
"I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you!"

I think it is great you are standing up for what you see as right. Some may not agree with you but you still are entitled to your opinion. I have been posting what I truly believe in and it's good to see that it is supported here.
