Paging Spike, Spike52..... Paging Binky, Binky Bainbridge...... :D

BTW, for question: Snopes says it is false and talks in complete circles to prove their point, only proving that Obama will not release his birth certificate as proof of his elegibility because he doesn't have to. It would solve allot of problems if he did just that. ;)

Let me get this straight, Team Obama released a long form birth certificate and mocked certain "birther" factions of the tea party, but it turns out to be a forgery? I need to fact cbeck this myself because it sounds too crazy to be given the benefit of the doubt.

It's an interesting read, but still don't think it will go anywhere. There is the truth, and then there's the government's truth. I don't foresee it going any further than conspiracy stories because what would happen if it was all true? As in, he wasn't a natural born citizen, the documents were fabricated, and he's been president for the last 4 years illegally. Would that mean everything he signed into law automatically becomes null and void? Were all the military actions illegal? Does John McCain get compensated somehow or retroactively get named the president? These are all things that would be so devastating to the system that the system would never let the real truth come out.

The whole political system, state and federal, is set up to intentionally be like this. How many people get elected into office that were ineligible to begin with? There has already been incidents where the person turned out to be a felon and it took long court battles to get them removed. Voter fraud is intentional as well. Remember the ACORN scandal during the last election? Same or fake people voting in different districts to pump up the numbers. How many people that vote are felons or illegals? It's the law to have an ID for many things but for some "strange" reason voter ID laws keep getting struck down.

My point is, the constitution has a lot of pretty handwriting and strong words about things like the president having to be natural born, voters have to be citizens, etc but when it comes to enforcement, I don't know how it would. Form another government agency that screens candidates? That wouldn't work because it would get a chopped budget and more loopholes than any other piece of legislation. I would think that the federal court system would be too scared to even look at the birth certificate issue. Sure there has been some senators or representatives thrown out after being ruled inelligible but a president? Don't forget how these federal judges get put on the bench to begin with.

It is funny how the major media (who supports Obama) belittles the argument to emotional antics because they are not able to debate facts. They call anyone who believes Obama's presidential eligibility as a "birther". A word which tries to make you out to be some kind of radical fringe movement or as Obama's DHS likes to say a "domestic extremist".

    This news is fresh information.

Imagine this. What will happen if it is proven Obama is not legally entitled to become president? This goes all the way back to whoever let him onto the ballots in the first place.

What about all of the Orwellian executive orders Obama has issued? What about all of the laws Obama has signed?

All of it is illegitimate and therefore null and void. At least I would hope so.

If Obama was illegitimate, it is not like Joe Biden could take over because this entire presidency and 2008 campaign as a consequence as a fraud.

It would seem to me there would be criminal penalties for such a baseless presidency. For as much damage as what Obama has caused and to finally learn from his own lawyers that his birth eligibility is suspect, there should be criminal repercussions charged against Obama. Imagine that.

the bottom line is still racism. About to nominate an empty blue suit mitt romney whose church doesn't allow blacks or women in top leadership position. That someone holding such an un-American position might be president is sad.

land of the free, home of liberty. right. And idiots still post about birther issues. Ignorance is growing in America. People actually belive in ghosts and dead jewish 'gods' -- what can we expect but stupidity in politics too. (Note to self: double money sent to obama campaign. )

why don't you get off the racism chant? it, right along with the political bashing and the religion bashing, is old and tired. ignorance is indeed alive and well, proved in every sentence you wrote (not to mention your campaign contributions).

It's not hard to prove the man is not eligible, even if the birth certificate is REAL. Both parents HAVE to be US Citizens, (Natural Born) bHO's father is not a citizen, so he never was eligible.
BTW, niether is Marco Rubio. ;)

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

There are no race or color restrictions as to who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are also no race or color restrictions as to who can have the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
An official declaration of the Church states, “every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood, with power to exercise its divine authority, and enjoy with his loved ones every blessing that flows therefrom, including the blessings of the temple. Accordingly, all worthy male members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color.”
(Doctrine and Covenants, Official Declaration – 2, 294).

The above is in response to your accusation that the Mormon "church doesn't allow blacks...in top leadership position."
I don't know about women though, be back soon.:readpaper:

P.S. Got my info from Mormon.org.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Gordon B. Hinckley, prior President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said:
“Women do not hold the priesthood because the Lord has put it that way. It is part of His program. Women have a very prominent place in this Church. Men hold the priesthood offices of the Church. But women have a tremendous place in this Church. They have their own organization. It was started in 1842 by the Prophet Joseph Smith, called the Relief Society, because its initial purpose was to administer help to those in need. It has grown to be, I think, the largest women’s organization in the world... They have their own offices, their own presidency, their own board. That reaches down to the smallest unit of the Church everywhere in the world...
“The men hold the priesthood, yes. But my wife is my companion. In this Church the man neither walks ahead of his wife nor behind his wife but at her side. They are co-equals in this life in a great enterprise.”

Well Old Timer, it looks like women are not allowed to become a priest, but they have leadership roles in the "Relief Society".

Obama professes to be a Christian, and he has Muslim roots.
I wonder if you can find any negative history in either of those religions, Old Timer?

Separation of Church and State, doesn't that mean what happens at the altar, stays at the altar?

Women as in many many many other fine churches cannot hold the "priesthood" or whatever else you call it. They justify it by citing scriptures which make man dominant over females. Therefore, by their logic, it makes little sense for a woman to be able to minister over males.

However, women can minister to women with little complaint.

Regardless, there is a word for that practice in modern America.

SEXISM. Discrimination based upon the individuals sex.

Muslims do this too. It isn't just Sharia Law but they do it on general principle.

This is true now, but the mormons have been known to change their beliefs as the world changes. They used to believe that all black people were the embodiment of evil and that they were demons. They also believed that people lived on the moon, and who could argue, until we landed there. They also believed Native Americans were the 10 lost tribes of Israel thus making them Jews, it was a safe thing to say until we got DNA testing and it was proven false. They also have writings about huge wars and battles that raged in the new England area back before the new world was supposedly even discovered. Yet there is no archeological evidence to support any of it. ASk a Mornon about it. They probably won't know anything about it, unless you ask an old Mormon and even then they will try and talk you away from it.
