| I appreciate the DCPD's showing of intelligence and restraint with this pursuit and am still saddened when I remember the fatality on 6th or the freak outcome at B & Comanche. "Chase 'em down" was sop in years gone by, but today's police tools provide lots of recourse; and this example proves their effectiveness. I've never been a participant of any police chase but I first witnessed the tragic consequences when I happened upon a collision between a school bus and a 'bad guy' in the middle 60's..... Even then, the prevailing thought was "..... that's what police radios are for."
