My kids bike was stolen and we don't have it to replace right now. I live by the soccer complex or whatever you call it and they came and took it. I thought I saw it at Comanche. Wouldn't a parent know if something was wrong if a kid came home with a different bike. This one was yellow and there's not many Yellow ones around. My son's birthday is coming up so it is getting replaced but it's sad. If I can catch the kid and determine without a doubt it's my son's you can bet I'm going to thump the little ---tard and send him a walking.

This kinda thing absolutely speaks volumes about the parent than the child. It used to go on when I was growing up in Dodge (a hundred years ago, as a matter of fact!!!). The only difference was that you could usually count on the bike showing up again - either with the parent in tow or just appearing. It's a whole different world. The parent probably grew up with a sense of entitlement (and the Robin Hood complex), so the child is growing up the same way. Sad, isn't it?

Heck it wouldn't surprise me if it was a parent that took it. I've seen a startling amount of newcomer adults riding what is obviously a kids bicycle.

I used to work with a Hispanic guy that explained to me why you should never run down a Hispanic on a bicycle with something along those lines. Especially if the bicycle looked like the one you used to have.

Naked field running?? That sounds exciting. HOw about neked hot tubs or skinny dipping, etc.?? I can bring my BIG snake over to tackle your lil' snake, if ya want?? I was neked once, and trying to cross a barbed wire fence, I slipped. And now I am "A-rack-nophobic" also!! Damn that hurt. Especially those pointy barbs on my --------------

They are like gnats... doing just enough to irritate you and constantly making you wonder what purpose they serve..

One thing I heard that an officer on a gang task force does in some Texas town.........

Since most officers know what the symbols represent and which gang they belong to...... they go round up the known gang members held in county, take them down to the site of the "artwork" and make them work for the county to do the painting. The amount of grafitti greatly reduced cause the when the members got out of county the word spread quickly that the gang brothers in lock up were havin to clean up the mess while there. I thought that was just a pretty slick way to utilize thier time while bein housed and fed by the taxpayors. This way the taxpayor got at least something back.

I also heard Harris County (houston) just moved to pink sheets, underwear and scrubs... no more "greens".. now everyone wears pinks...... haven't seen it on the news but heard it on the radio...... yee haw!!
