Gang-Crimes out of control in Dodge City

Man, I gotta post here more often...
Yeah, you are right that Dodge is not Wichita, nor is it Baghdad, but having been in both places for extended periods of time, I would have to say that Dodge is more like a Combat Zone than a thriving buissness community. It is amazing to me that another small town that I am from, only 30 min from Wichita, (apparently the crime capital of KS), has almost NO crime issues, NO gang problem, and NO illegals. I am thinking that the reason for that can be explained by that last sentence. NO illegals. I have always thought about returning to Kansas to raise my family when I get out of the Army, but I have not even given Dodge a second thought. Until something happens out there to ease the tensions, (Something like ummm MASS DEPORTATIONS OF ILLEGALS), I cannot see raising my kids there. My oldest knows some German, some Italian, I might be asking too much of her to learn spanish too.

Being AGAINST illegal immigration doesn't make one racist although some in the community would like to paint it that way...Just like being "against affirmative action" means you're racist...not true. You point out racists comments on here but you offer no quotes as to what the comments are......I ask you this.. Do you think if a person or group of people are against illegals, criminals, coming across the border and sucking from our economy...is racist? If so why?

Gang related incidents would be better controlled if they paid as well as $peeder$, $top $ign runner$/roller-througher$ and even .081 BAC drivers.

What I've noticed in my years is that COPS seem to find what Judges want to "hear" and soon overlook what Judges dismiss....
