Gang-Crimes out of control in Dodge City

From Aug. 19 to Sept. 22, the city recorded seven drive-by shootings. Ball said he now estimates the town of 25,000 has more than 300 gang members, most of whom are Hispanic. Dodge City is one of the few western Kansas towns that has been growing, largely due to the influx of Latinos drawn to the meatpacking industry in southwest Kansas

Most of whom = about 99% which is in no way proportionate to the hispanic population in Dodge City.

Has anyone been to the courthouse on court day? I thought it was a special hispanic day or something but the clerk said "No it's always like this"

I am not racist but my god, why are these 2nd generation hispanics causing so much more trouble than the other minorities?

I used to live in town, and a rough area of town...There were always gang-bangers on the block at night, tagging houses, fighting, and shooting guns into houses. All of them were generation hispanic. My bed was near the front of the house so I constructed a bullet shield to put at the head of the bed so I could sleep at night without the fear of not waking up. Finally I got the sense to move out into the country. Two months after I moved into my new house in the country, I was the victim of a home invasion. I was alseep downstairs when I heard someone upstairs, a latino punk rumuging through my things at 1:30 in the morning. Luckily, he wasn't armed and I was able to take him. He got a one way ticket to jail. Now I sleep with a peacemaker within reaching range.

We shouldn't have to live like this!

It's not just the courthouse although it's a good example of the burden on the system. Pretty much every where but that cozy northeast corner of dodge looks that way but in time that will change.

As newcomer businesses spring up driving the old ones out they will start migrating to north dodge. The people up north are all for mass immigration until it happens in their neighborhood and it begins to adversely change their part of town. It's happening all over the country. The people that WERE all for the newcomers are having second thoughts now that they are becoming their neighbors.

I saw a sobering interview with some big wig from Missouri(senator/governor/mayor) that had been a strong voice against the mass migration. He spent some time in Mexico to try and better understand the driving force behind it(mass migration). He said after spending time and talking with the Mexicans that have family in the "northern country", which by the way is what they call the US because it is no longer America, his strategy has changed to trying to get the immigrants to better fit in. He is still against mass immigration but now realizes there is no stopping it.

He said most Americans have no idea the magnitude of this problem. While America sees it as simply a peoples from a poor country looking for a better life, Mexicans see it as the "reacquisition of the northern country." In fact he said most the Mexicans are laughing at the US for sending its army's to the middle east in an attempt to keep their country, while letting us(Mexico) walk right in. He said the "reacquisition of the northern country" is far more organized than Americas attempt to stop it. They(Mexico) also laugh at the fence being built. They refer to it as "a fence being built that keeps the sheep in with the Fox."

One group believe Americas war in the middle east is to prepare it for Americans once they are removed from the northern country. He says that Mexico has been turned into a migration machine. As Mexicans move to the north and work they send back billions of dollars that are then used to finance more migration. Mexican mothers are asked to becoming "birthing machines" to repopulate both Mexico and the northern country.

He also said America has no realistic concept of how many immigrants, both legal and illegal, are actually in the country. A census from Mexico on "exported Mexicans" is staggering. While America continues to believe a number around 12-16 million, just in illegals, the census puts it more near 50-70 million. He has given up on any attempt to curb the flow and now is trying to make the Missouri transition as painless as possible.

I understand the frustration and well remember the soreness in my muscles after removing 'brown power' spraypaintings on a garage.

We seem to have forgotten about Parental Responsibility at the juve level; additionally, we must start making imprisioned & probated gangbangers remove all graffiti.

It's not just the courthouse anymore. Try the post office, the grocery stores, the park, the clubs, about anywhere. Most have no respect for property, the town, or other people. Now (yeah, like it just happened) we have kids with guns shooting up the place. Anything any everything getting stolen, trashed, etc. Now, I am not saying they are all like this, but it sure has ruined our values and way of life in this country, and in our area in particular.

I went 44 years without owning a gun, but now the way things are headed in Dodge City and the Invasion across our Southern Border, I can see a day in the future where civilian militias might become a necessity again. I am now the proud owner of a pocket sized 9mm, a 7 shot .357 magnum revolver, an AK-47, and several more. I am ready to defend myself and my property. Now I just need somebody to reload magazines for me while I fight 'em off.

I'm a bit tired of the language barrier. Last time I checked English was the language in this country!! About 2 years ago I was turned down from a few jobs because I wasn't bilingual. I don't think it's ok for me, as an AMERICAN CITIZEN to have to learn a different language. I've had people all over the world at my job and not one of them have tried to speak to me in any other language besides English. I feel the same resepct should be given for everyone living in this country.
