| Poots, I hear your arguments and I don't disagree with you totally, I just don't want the rehab to be publicly sponsored. Everything that the government controls turns to shat - I see it with my husband's job. People around there sit and cry about how they have such crummy jobs. I wish I could be paid to report to work and do nothing for 8 hours. They bring down some pretty good benefits as well - and it's impossible to be fired once you're hired. It's pretty incredible. No, we don't want government-sponsored rehab and cons forced to stay there. It won't work if the felon doesn't want it to. It can't be court-ordered. If a convicted felon wants to go to rehab to help him/her with an addiction AFTER he/she's paid the price to society, then go for it. Just don't take the money out of my pocket.

| Who the hell goes to work and does nothing for 8 hours? If your talking about addiction counselors than your WRONG. I would rather pay for people to go to rehab to learn to be more productive in society, than go to prison to learn how to become a better criminal. They can go to both.
