Sauer gives child molester probation

Let me first make it clear that I think all child molesters should be strung up in public by their family jewels until they fall off. But let me ask you, what is wrong with this picture?

Molest a 13-year old girl in Ford County, lead police on a chase, have 34 prior misdemeanors and felonies--get probation.

Molest a 12-year old girl in Reno County, have a clean record--get 27 years in prison.

I realize that our County Attorney John Sauer has to plead cases down because he is such a poor prosecutor that he can't win even slam-dunk cases in court. But hello? Why do we let child molesters roam free in our community? Could we not give him just a couple of years behind bars to think about what he did to a child who will certainly carry the mental scars of his crimes with her for the rest of her life?

When is the next election? Not soon enough.

Maybe Sauer can get a job in Johnson County under Phill Kline! I hear they might have some openings for prosecutors.

Nope - you can keep 'im. It took some time for our old CA to clean up Johnson County and the job wasn't done yet. But at least he tried. Kline doesn't stand a chance. Pure and simple. He won't see the next election.

what I see is this....this guy is going to get in more trouble, look at his record. I see him doing the 27 years or whatever.

Yeah but whose kid is he gonna go thru to get caught doin the trouble? Course ya can't change a judges decision - so I would say - guard your children closely!

Keep this in mind when the next election comes --
The plea was from a former Asst. CA, who says she will probably be running against Sauer in the upcoming election. Who really do we want in? And, I clearly remember, most of your really pulling for Sauer 2 years ago.

I don't know any of the players but I do know in a similair case down here it was made clear the judge in some pleas just have to accept the pleas - it's the law. The attorneys hammer a=out a plea and the judge's job is to preside over the hearings - the judge is more or less there in case one or the other attorneys refuse the plea - just a thought - i remember it was all over the airwaves - they were ready to hang the judge - but the way the law read - it was actually the attorneys that made the deal - the judge was furious at the attorneys but couldnt' do anything................. If this is not the case here I would be pleanty pissed
