| We actually discussed that possibility when she was writing the ticket.  She wasn't the same officer. I don't have a clue what NIRadio is talking about and neither does he.     |

| I don't think she was having a bad day. In fact, she seemed to be having a great day. If they were after Zeb they would have used that last ticket on him. Really, the only problem I have is why a ticket and not a warning. I'm sure when they ran me through NCIC they found I was clean as a whistle, no priors and I thought my lights were on and she knew that. I was polite and courteous because I do respect our officers. It just seemed to be a bit extreme for the situation so I assumed there had to be a motive.

| Click it or Ticket. Since they need a primary offence to pull you over it wouldn't be a good idea for a warning on the primary and a ticket on the seatbelt. Turn your lights on and buckle up and this discussion would not exist. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

| I agree take the pictures and see if you can get it thrown out. I've had a somewhat similar experience a few years ago with music. I had some classic rock playing a little loud but on a FACTORY stereo so not too loud. As the officer passes me and turns around to pull me over for my loud music this car drives right by us with the music even louder and a sub-woofer thumping so loud that the officer had to pause in what he was saying about my music being so loud. So I know how you feel detector. That in my eyes was just an excuse to get you for seatbelts, but a poor excuse it was.
