It's always interesting to hear the other side to any story. So, it's not as if you were mooching off Dad and cryin' to Mom for $$$. My bad. And it WAS just an expression, as Texie said. Still, though - I have to stand by my earlier response that it's a lot of money to spend for a vacation that might just turn out to be a dud. I'll be very glad to give an update on how the trip was. Check up on this post on April 22nd. I doubt I will want to even get online when I return to Dodge around 10pm on the 21st. As for pictures. If the boards allow it, I'll post some stuff.

If the trip does happen to go sour well you can damn sure expect me to be further humbled by the event. And I'll take that big fat "I TOLD YA SO" with all the humility I can muster.

Yeah, I thought that too when I was sitting in a bar in LA on a weekend pass from Ft. Irwin back in 1967. Only it was a great-looking blonde, I was sure. Thank God the bartender pulled me aside and gently explaned to me that I wasn't in Kansas anymore!

Just a quick update. Trip is still going to occur. I leave for Denver to fly out to LA in approx 76 hours from posting time (a lil after 4am).

I plan on having at least 2 disposable camera's full of pics that I'll have put on a CD so I can upload them directly onto my computer when I get them from the photo center.

I'll post a few of the really awesome pics (which I am sure there will be one or two) on the baords. But if you want to see any of the others. Send me a private message with your email address adn I'll email them directly.
