Thanks for stepping up - it's important to give readers what they want. I like a paper that accepts resonability for it's purpose. Good job!

Thanks for listening and following through! I'm sure it will be appreciated by many.

Really?

Will it be reported? or a blurp "it's under investigation". You know the powers will be watching and reading. We do not want anything in that paper that casts a dim light on the community, we've lived with that for years. I for one, will hide and watch and read, and see for myself.
We, the people have the right to know ANY news that may affect our daily lives. I expect to see the full details on what happened this a.m. with the forced robbery, B&E of an individual in our city.
Well, I could continue, but have to put some paper in the bird cage.

Man, I got confused about halfway through this thread. I thought it was about the lack of reporting by the Globe and then somewhere along the lines it got muddled.

No longer being a citizen of the city I would still like to know where and when the gang violence happens. I know I would be the first to beg my folks to leave my childhood home if it started to get too close to them. I'm glad the Globe is adding this back as a feature.

Seems to me that it isn't the Police departments job to protect, serve AND write articles for the Globe.

If your Mom lives south of Comanche, she's surrounded. South of Soule, it's coming. South of the Bypass, there's time. South of Ross (the speed trap) Boulevard, don't worry.... anytime soon.
