| HELP: Legal question on Guns I have a gun I bought from a family member. I don't have any papers on it but am told the gun is clean and I can clearly make out the serial number. 9mm handgun. I am a CCH license holder. In the state of Kansas, do I also have to register my gun. If so, how and where?

| I don't think you have to "register" it. The only advice I would offer would be to get a receipt from your family member notarized with the date of sale. This way if it was used in a murder on August Second, you can show you took posetion on August 12th. Which might come in handy.
