| Are you missing something??? Today a box that looks as if it was ready to be mailed was found in the middle of the street. It was sealed and had a shipping address on it, but no postage or return address. I am sure someone around Dodge has to be looking for it. We thought it might be an ebay sale or something like that, but no luck finding a record of it with them. If you, or someone you know, were going to be shipping a box off to the west coast and you are now missing it, you might try coming by the Police dept. at 110 W. Spruce. All you will have to do is identify what is in the box and, possibly, the mail to address.     |

| Can we get a size or some kind of idea? We had something picked up today to be mailed that was going West, but wouldn't hear of a missing item for a few days at least.

| It is a piece of electronic equipment - no, not a Wii or anything like that! It is complete with a hand made copy of the manual for it and was bound for California. |

| Send it to the recipient COD. The Post Office and UPS will both collect the shipping charges from the recipient for an extra 8 bucks or so.

| Only problem is that there are too many "maybes" involved with doing that. Maybe the person it was addressed to already got it and brought it back here...maybe the person it appears to be addressed to was going to be covered up once the person sending it got it to the post office...so, we just hold it as found property locked up nice and tight in the evidence room til someone claims it. |

| Wait, we just sent a package back to a company on the west coast. It was electronics too. Hummm. I'm pretty sure it was dropped off at the post office but could it have some how fell off a truck or something? I could tell you the company it was going to and also what was inside. Let me PM you. |
