| I thought... ...it was a ticketable offense to be driving around with your number plate obscured by snow (or mud/dirt)? I was just wondering. I am not suggesting that our cops don't have better things to do, because I know they do.

| I believe that technically it is. But, since it just snowed last night I think they they give leniency for awhile. Now, if it is still covered with mud and unreadable several weeks from now they might not be as lenient.

| So all they have to do is wait for you to do somethin' else wrong - like a mile over - then they'll had you a ticket for the mile, the snow-covered plate AND no seatbelt !
