I found this link with a neat national immigration news tracker. Pretty interesting stuff. I was reading where Arizona is considering passing additional laws for hiring undocumented workers, cutting off social programs, and other stuff.

So what does this mean ? Being in Ks is not a crime, then can the illegals that are being ran out of other states, come to Ks, and they will be safe from Ice raids. I am confused

It's kind of strange. The act of COMING across the border is a crime but once you GET here...BEING here per say is not a crime.

It's kind of strange. The act of COMING across the border is a crime but once you GET here...BEING here per say is not a crime.

Being here in itself isn't the crime, although I don't think it would stand up in court, but driving here, while illegal, working here, while illegal, or doing just about anything short of standing around while here illegally is a crime.

Dodge City has become a sanctuary city and now that we are the minority you can bet there is nothing we can do at this point to stop it. Kansas is getting ready to join the others states that are cracking down on illegal immigrants. It will be interesting to see how dodge dances around those state laws.

It's not a congress thing...it was a Kansas Court thing. But congress should be bitch slapped anyway with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed at the front of the bitch slappin' line...hehehe

It will be interesting to see if Dodge will enforce that or if they will find a way around it to keep illegals comfortable here.
