| I have compassion for her - she must really be questioning what she did wrong to produce a son like that. Honestly, though? It's not HIS mom I'm thinking about.

| You know, if you weren't there in the actual court room through the entire trial you don't have a clue as to what went on. There are only two people that know what went on that night. That' God and Chris. Since I'm positive that NOONE is perfect on this DodgeBoard I don't think any of you can pass judgement. What happened that night is very tragic but what would frighten me the most if I lived in Dodge is to know that there IS a killer out there somewhere on the loose! Thank goodness I don't live in Dodge! How many other investigation have the KBI messed up? People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!! |

| Tigre you are right that there are only two people that know the truth. However lets look at a few things again Chris left the state, ran from the cops int Colorado, and then confessed. That is enough for me. Chris had a choice to be judged by twelve or carried by six. He made his choice. While the event is tragic, there is no one to blame but Chris. There is only so much a mother or father can do. As far as a killer on the streets in Dodge, I will sleep just fine tonight and every night after that.

| Innocent people do run from the cops, but not in this case. I truly do sympathize with Chris' family and hope they can eventually deal with this. I also sympathize with the victim's family for they lost someone for ever. No one wants to believe their loved one, friend or close co-worker could ever do something wrong and I am not going to try, nor wish to try to convince them otherwise. May all involved eventually find peace.

| From what I saw, witnessed, and heard, it was an open and shut case. Plus, there were other things he has done that he didn't even get charged with, and I am not the only one that knows that fact. You two must be dreaming. By the way, the DA did not find him guilty; the jury did!! |
| |||
| So what you are saying is that anyone that confesses to a crime is automatically guilty? He said a .270 rifle was used. Where's the proof? The DA didn't proof that a .270 rifle was used, if fact at the onset of the investigation according to the pathogist who examined the body,said that a low-caliber weapon was most likely the cause of death. Only after May 11th when Chris was caught in Colorado, did they begin the search Chris's apartment for a 270 rifle. Time of death is important to pinpoint. If the time of death had been, say after 6 am, would there not be light in the morning sky? Kinda of hard to sneak through alley ways and hide in bushes in daylight don't you think? Furthermore, had the time of death been before 330 when she was supposedly scene alive last, wouldn't that bring other suspects to thier attention? No sir! The time of death is important. I agree with Tigre, if you weren't at the trial you cannot possibly know any of the facts. The local media doesn't provide the greatest details, only outlines the highlights. Someday some of you maybe accused of a terrible crime. Wouldn't you want to be judged based on facts and not speculation? The only thing i know for sure is they didn't prove anything based on facts. Only words. No facts. |

| Yes when you confess that means you admitted to the crime. Once you say yes I did it and give datails to how it was done, what else do you need. If I decide to cheat on my wife and she never finds out, but I tell her I did it. Then yes I am guilty. I don't understand how some of you are not getting this.

| Ya, know I agree with whoever said he must be the dumbest cop ever. So.....you go out and shoot someone then you go home to your apartment hang your pants back in the closet put your shoes (after you have cleaned them real good, of course) in the trash along with two T-shirts that you weren't wearing that night, oh and put three shell casing in there as well. Tie up the trash bag and place it in the dumpster right out side your house, when you know that trash day is on Friday and it is now Saturday. The black cap you were wearing (so that when you are running by 12 or 15 houses they won't see you) you place it in the closet in open sight with the guns. Then you get up the next day....get ready for work like nothing happened? I don't think so.......He (to my knowledge) hadn't ever killed anyone before so it's not like he was so callased that he could handle such a thing. He obviously broke down when told by the KBI that Erin had been killed. The KBI agent that went and questioned Chris had only been on the force for a couple of years. Do you think he might have slipped on some details of the case? He seemed very timmid if you ask me. But besides his conffesion can anyone tell me of any details that linked Chris to this case because according to the KBI they didn't have anything. I'm not sure how all this investigation thing works but I belive it I had told the KBI that I killed Erin they would have centered their case around my statement. I probably could have had as many details as Chris had, had I been in his shoes and had access to them as he did. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that she had been killed. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the back glass was broken out since you can see the back door when driving down the street. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that HEY! It was storming last night his clothes should be muddy, so apparently the KBI aren't rocket scientist. He was convicted on his statement ONLY! They meaning the KBI didn't do their homework as far as I'm concerned. |
