But to address your point, since you don't seem to be interested in hearing anyone else's, IF Tahah had heard about the shooting through other channels, this message board, or town gossip, then why didn't he bring that up when questioned by the KBI? Hell, why didn't he bring it up at trial? WHY did he insist on sticking with his silly story that he "reconnoitered" around the perimeter of Erin Jones's house by standing on the access road north of Hwy 50 with binoculars and that's how he knew about it because he saw the broken glass (which was easily disproven later when there was clearly no way to see into the back yard from anywhere along that road)?

You can see the back of the house with the naked eye from frontview road. Imagine what you can do with a pair of binculars. Sorry Banyon, but wrong again.

It's great to believe in your friend or relative or whatever it is to you but you aren't going to convince anyone on this board that the evidence and the jury were wrong.

If you just need someone to yell at and to vent then feel free. Get it out of your system.

But do realize you aren't going to change the mind of anyone here. You definately aren't going to make any changes by whining or calling names.

Personally I'd rather see every guilty person walk the streets before seeing a single innocent person pay for a crime they didn't commit.

But not from Mead Lumber which is where he said he was standing....

You are correct, you cannot see the back from mead lumber, but he also stated he walked further down frontview and from that position you can see the back of the house.

Actually there were photos taken with a zoom lens all up and down that road. I looked at it myself. You can't see into the back yard from there. The fence and the houses in front obstruct your view.

I didn't read wher you made any evidentiary points!

He said that's how he knew the back glass was out not how he knew she was shot.

Furthermore, you can see into her backyard from the service road I saw it for myself.

Do you not think that I was looking for some validation to his story as well? The pictures that the KBI took while standing on the service road showing that they couldn't see into the backyard is a crock of bull. I went to the service road after the KBI showed their pictures and could see into the backyard without binoculars. Obviously I could see a lot better with them. I could even see a kid playing in the backyard with my naked eye!!

If you had all the facts I think you would be on the same page as I am. I don't know why he gave a false statement unless it was that all his so called friends had turned on him life as he new it was over. The girl he loved was DEAD! Everyone thought he did it. They had already served him papers saying a 2nd degree murder was being investigated. I would run too if all the cards were stacked against me. Then to know that the back glass was broken to know that she had been shot and then go take a polygraph at the station where everyone thinks your guilty, I DON'T THINK SO!!!

I was in Dodge this past week and believe it or not I met several people that were on Chris's side. These people were affiliated with the police department in some shape or fashion.

I was convinced up until I went to the trial that Chris did it. I also new that things didn't add up.

I never thought he deserved murder one!!

I'm not looking for a magical piece of grass or something that you would see in CSI.

If you look at the facts they don't add up!!!

Why would you shoot into someone's house. Go home hang your pants in the closet throw away your shoes and do who knows what to the sweat shirt you were supposedly wearing (because they never found that) Throw away 3 shell casings (all of this right out side your door in the dumpster) I wonder (if he loaded three shells in the gun like he said he did) where are the other shells that he didn't shoot. I also wonder why (if he walked almost 3 blocks) crossed over several peoples yards why noone saw him. esspecially after you fired the gun! Someone should have been able to hear something!

He stated a lot of things but only his confession to murder matters. I have been in the business a while, I know you are in ppain and I truly understand that.

You have every right to state your beliefs here. But, you are not going to get anywhere. What about hiring a well respected private eye or contact some investigative journalist. The only thing to fear is the cost and them telling you what the jury did. But perhaps it can help with your own closure.

What might be better is cooling down, visiting your son and begging him to tell you the truth. I am sure your love for him will still be there when he tells you the truth. There will be pain but he will always be yours!
