| Not at all, WTE. I think if you really have credible evidence to change the verdict, then why have the trial on this forum. It is meaningless. Get with his lawyer and see what can be done. That is why, in this Country, we have the appeals we do. Thanks to Sgt. T and millions of others that have defended our right. Now for my last thought on this, the bastard is GUILTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEAD THREAD

| "bringing shit up" ........all the facts i have wrtten on are in evidence. Which is too say there is no evidence linking Chris Tahah to the death other than a fabricated story told in Colorado. As for the appeal goes, rest assured the appeal process is already in the works. Also, my father and many members of my family have served our country to give me the freedoms which i enjoy today. Don't ever think once that i don't appreciate all who have served. As i've stated in earlier posts, i have only once made this forum personal, other than that i've stuck to facts and nothing else. Some of you are taking it personal, that is definitely not my intent. If you disagree or are getting tired of my rantings exercise your right to not repond. Seems to me that would be the quickest way not to listen to my opinions. |

| Since I dont know Chris, Was not in Court to hear the FACTS, I cannot pass judgement on this man. Maybe in the appeals we will know more of the facts on this case. Until then, there will not be closure for any involved in this case. I do know that all opinions are valued on this board. Good luck on the appeal and hope your questions are answered then, and just remember that your opinion, although is questioned by other members on this board and Myself, can quickly turn sour by arguing your opinion with everyone instead of valueing there opinion as you value your own. | Just one more thought before this thread is closed by admin. Obviously you were at the trial. Obviously you feel strongly that the wrong decision was made by the jury. I suspect the accused will access his right to appeals. When that happens, please plead your case in front of a jury or judge. But it's pointless to try and convince this forum of his innocence. Very rarely does an innocent man confess to a crime...particularly a man who knows his rights very well. I can understand he was in a horrible mental state, but by his very training as a PO, he knew better than to confess. Admin?

Motive: Erin seeing others, Erin breaking up with Chris, Chris admitting he had difficulty dealing with it, Chris admitting he killed her, Chris knowing that she was shot despite no credible method for gaining such knowledge. Means: Chris having Winchester rifle of consistent caliber that killed Erin. Chris having round saved in a Chinese puzzle box consistent with the murder bullet. Chris trying to explain it away that it was his "bullseye at the target range" (normal people would save the target). Police seeing rifle bolt in Chris's apartment and then it disappears when they come back (thus, making ballistics impossible as Chris would know). Chris throwing shoes that he had worn many times a week suddenly away (because there might be mineral samples on them). Opportunity: Chris being called for duty (for Greensburg tornado) and claiming that he was unavailable. Chris coming into Erin's home repeatedly when she wasn't home and her checking her house to seeif he was there. Chris seeing her dancing with another man that night at Central Station. Chris having no alibi besides "he was drinking" that night. No credibility: Chris fleeing the jurisdiction, STEALING another person's Humvee and attempting to escape multiple Colorado officers. Chris convicted of those crimes. Chris admitting that he killed Erin upon his capture. Chris telling how he waited and gun went off accidentally. Chris changing story at trial to never having been there against his attorney's advice. Yeah, WHERE's THE EVIDENCE? Pretty much all they were missing was the murder weapon . He destroyed the usefulness of that. Shooting from outside, he knew that it was unlikely that forensic evidence from inside the home could go against him, especially when he was sitting outside in storm conditions.
