| Tahah is a good liar though. We all know he is lying, but can we prove it? If there is any unreasonable doubt to this case then he will either get 2nd degree or something else.

| I do believe it is required to carry your weapon off duty. Him having the gun is not premeditated. It is easier to go with felony murder since the burden of proving premeditation is not required. The mere act of commiting a felony and someone dying during, or because of, the act carries the same penalty as premeditation.

| It's not like he shot her with his service weapon. It was a smaller caliber than what his service weapon would have been wasn't it? Wouldn't most cops carry thier service weapon when off duty? or something similar to that caliber???

| Quite a few officers down here carry smaller weapons in thier waist or leg just for the times that some turd wrestles thier service weapon away from them. That kind of thinking saved an officers life just last week in Houston. The turd died.

| Anyone else read the paper? Tahah said, while at a bar, after his girlfriend threatened to leave him to date other guys, he just couldn't stand the thought of her with another man. So he went home, dressed himself in all black, went to her house with his gun, snuck around behind her bedroom, hiding out by the bushes where he could see her inside, then held his gun up, pointing it at her from outside the house, to scare her (as if she could even see him). But then......all of a sudden.....brace yourself.... The (loaded and cocked) gun FIRED, all by itself!  WOW...An ex-police officer who was heavily trained on how to hold/use/fire his weapon...and the (loaded and cocked) gun went off accidently....while he was pointing it at his girlfreinds head....after she threatened to leave him.... hmmmmmm Any potential jurors buy that? What do you think his chances are of selling that story to a jury?

| Yeah I read that in the paper yesterday, had to laugh! From what I heard from people on the street, it wasn't looking good in his favor which is a very good thing.. But you never know how the jury will come back! |

| But Tee, in todays paper, he says he wasn't even there!! He just drove by to see if she was home, then went home!!! From the things that I have heard, I hope they hang the bastard, and don't waste money housing and feeding him. |
